Duplicate photos. Some of the photos in s8 gallery have duplication

Brand new s8 and some of the photos in the gallery have duplicated. When I delete one, both disappear. Please advise

If this was me id first go into Settings-Apps-Gallery-Storage-Clear Cache and Data.

Hi @tigerted

Do you have a Samsung Cloud Account on your S8 that you are using to backup your images? If so please open your Gallery apps > Tap the 3 dots in the top right corner > Settings > Sync with Samsung Cloud > Disable this option. This should prevent any further duplicates showing up in your Gallery.

I have the same problem but I have tried that and it somehow isn't working.... I'm stressing out and I just don't want to lose my pictures. Ughhh what do I do please helppp😭.

I have s9 a having the same problem N nothing seems to work feel like throwing the dam phone away cause it very annoying😡
