Deleted Camera file

Help please! I was transferring photos and videos from my Samsung 9 to my laptop via a USB cable and accidentally deleted the Camera folder on my phone. Is there anyway to restore it either on the phone or laptop? Any help much appreciated as hundreds of memories on there. Thank you.

you may check your Gallery app if has thrash bin enabled 

if none, you can try some apps from Google Play store called "recover deleted photos"

if the first app won't work, try another app, don't forget to uninstall after use

just to set your expectations, we cannot really recover deleted photos unless backed up or synced to clouds

if they were on your phone and they are not in the trash bin they are lost...

if they were on your pc too and deleted also there you can use Recuva and use deep scan to read deleted not overwritten files of the hard drive.
