charging problem.s

I have a s8 nothing but problems with charging, will only charge when I plug into laptop and not from wall. Tried everything still wont work, can anyone help please

The charging port may be damaged
It might be worth changing it if the troubleshoot steps above dont work. Its a relatively quick and inexpensive fix and I've done it before
