Can't save contacts on Galaxy M51

I have a Galaxy M51 and I used Dual Messenger feature for WhatsApp for like a day maybe. After that, my Contacts app started crashing whenever I try to change the info for a contact or create a new contact. (It also messed up the names of the contacts) I deleted the app data, cache. I restarted the phone many times. I don't want to factory reset but I think I have to but before that, is there anything I can do?

Are both accounts trying to Sync to the same device? and are you using dual sims in the device? Ive not heard of the M model series before so I'll have to have a look into them before I suggest a solution......

I did have dual sims on the device once for like a day. Basically in the same device I used WhatsApp for my main sim card, and I used the Dual Messenger feature for the second sim for a day and it completely messed up 😅 right now there isn't a second sim but keeps crashing. and btw, thank you for help 😊
