Are you referring to the Albums in your Gallery ?
Is your Gallery updated to the latest version available on your phone.
If so are you using the Samsung Gallery ?
On mine I open up my Galley and then for example.
- Choose the Camera option where pictures go when I take one.
- Long press on a picture.
- Press More at the bottom of the page.
- Choose Move to Album.
- Tap on Create in the top right hand corner.
- A pop up box then let's me create a name for the new album.
In regards to changing an Albums name in the Samsung Gallery.
- Long hold on one of the lists in the gallery.
- Press More in the bottom right corner corner.
- A pop up appears with various options with one of them saying Rename.
If you've tried the above then put the phone in Safe Mode … Put the phone in Safe Mode which disables your downloaded app's but let's your stock app's keep working. If the issues stop then this highlights a downloaded app as the possible issue. If no apps are causing this then you may need to visit a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre.
