For some unknown reason, i suddenly can switch on WIFI anymore on my Galaxy A5. When i try to switch it on, it automatically switches back to 'off'. I didn't install any app, i didn't make any modifications to my settings.
I tried to check if there were any software updates to install, but when I ask for a manual update, i get an error message telling me that the operating system had been changed in an unauthorised way. I am asked to try install the updates with Smart Switch on my PC, but Smart Switch doesn't offer me the possibility to install any software update.

Hi @hdelporte
If this was me I'd first try clearing the system cache by turning off the phone and then go through a set sequence of button pressess that will lead you to the phones file system.
If no joy back up and factory reset.
If no result then it's possibly time to have a diagnostic on it if required via a Samsung service location or Samsung Experience Store.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512Gb in Phantom Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
