Why is my Galaxy A52s  struggling  to play this game? Its slow and laggs.

Some games are resource hungry so as such some mid range phone's may suffer some difficulties @Gaza54 

Do the issues start straight away or after extended game play ?

I'm not saying this is happening in your particular situation.

Have you looked at any applicable gaming controls / settings on your phone that allow how the phone runs the game to be tweaked ?

They get worse after only a few minutes. Not sure where to find a boost. Brand new phone surely it shouldn't be struggling with such a small game. As to a boost I have no idea where to look for one. Any suggestions? Thanks

Have you tried these steps to improve gaming performance? 

Activate "Focus on performance" mode for an optimized gaming experience, but keep in mind that this may use battery power
faster than other modes.

Activate "Balanced" mode for a good balance between game performance and battery usage.

Activate "Focus on power saving" mode to limit some performance and maximize battery usage.

Also, great game choice one of my favorite games on my Note 20. 

If the above issues don't solve your issue,  there should be a way to manually adjust the settings including frames per second (fps)
