bluetooth not working with ford sync

bought new-well new to me- car this morning and now galaxy s8 won't sync with bluetooth. Ford Fiest 2016 model. Ford can see I am trying to connect with Galaxy s8 but 6 digit passcode does not appear on phone. Anyone any ideas? Thanks

As this is a new phone the software may not be compatible yet. We recommend you get in touch with the car manufacturer to discuss this further. :smileyhappy:

Check that the ford software and phone software are updated. I had to have my 2016 corsa system updated when i got my s8+
