blocking dodgy numbers

I want to block the numbers of people calling me about PPI insurance and accident claims. how do I do this on myS7?

Hi jfarquahar,

In the green "Phone" app you can go to "more" > "settings" in the top right of the app. From here turn on "Identify unsaved numbers"

This allows the phone to detect if it's a telemarketer or not and also if is a suspected fraud. The database comes from whitepages so is constantly updated and you can contribute to this by marking as a spam call after you hang up - That is if you decide to asnwer the call in the first place lol!

The other thing you can to is to open the green "phone" app, tap on "Log" at the top of the screen and scroll to the spam number that called you. Tap on the phone number and now you can block the number from the menu in the top right of the screen.
