Black blank Samsung Note 5

There are occasions where the screen on my Samsung Note 5 (dual Sim) is goes blank/black and pressing the power button and volume down key returns seems to be the only way of restoring the screen visibility. Is there a fix for this problem? I have noticed other owners experiencing the same problem on other online forums. This is becoming very annoying for such an expressive phone and the second Samsung phone I have had a problem with.

Does your Note 5 go blank when using a certain app or at a particular battery percentage? Are all apps and software up to date? Plus, any other issues you've noticed with it, e.g. lag?
