As A User Of The Samsung Galaxy S9 (Kinda Old) I Have Noticed A lot Of Battery Lowererage And As An All Day User Of My Phone I Offcorse Need A Power Bank Or A Charger But! This Will Mean More Thing's To Carry Which Is A Pain. So I Suggest You Check Your Battery Usage (Of Apps)/Battery Life As You Might Need To Replace It. Also Make Sure You Get The Replacement Correct As This Could Affect Your Phones Ability To Keep Water Out.

I would always support the advice to use a Samsung Service Centre so that original parts are used and are of good quality.

This is important in my view especially when the battery is involved.

Having unauthorised work carried out also invalidates the Samsung 2 year manufacturers warranty. I appreciate your phone has surpassed that stage.

Using an independent unauthorised repair shop can on occasion also introduce possible further issues with the phone and impair any eligible water and dust rating.

I appreciate they csn be cheaper to use but I prefer peace of mind.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
