Other SmartphonesHi,
My Samsung S7 Edge is coming up to 2 years old and I love it however in the last two weeks the battery has suddenly turned rogue.
Firstly, the battery performance is fine, cant fault it in that area. However, it has developed a fault where it will suddenly shut down even though it can have a % of anywhere from 15-70 and when I turn it back on it says 0%!
It appear to shut down after only 2-4 hours (of which approx 30 minutes of which the phone is used). Yesterday it shut down 5 times! This was after being charged between each instance.
My useage is fairly basic, no gaming/streaming etc just mainly facebook/ messenger & browsing and the phone is using the genuine charger.
I've cleared the cache and performed a factory reset but the problem persists.
Can anyone please help me as my fiancee and I are expecting out first child in 9 weeks and need to be contactable at all times. At the moment I'm terrified to take the phone off charge. What I have is a very expensive landline!
Thanks in advance

Hi @DanCreeber123,
I've been having exactly the same problem lately. What was the cause of your problem and how did you solve it??
Thanks in advance,
