Battery charge Alert

Hi, 

I have been using the S8 for about two weeks now and am loving it.

One of the things I like to do on my laptop is to use a battery alert that tells me when my battery has been charged to 80 and when it goes below 40 percent. Having done that I have never had battery problems. Before that however, my previous laptop and phone would have extremely bad degradation of the battery life. This is something that is suggested a lot on the internet as well. While there are some apps there to do it for you on playsyore, they have many permissions and are not that good as the alarm options are very limited.

What do people think about a stock app or settings options that people can use to create a charge alert. Is this something that can be added? Even after getting into this habit for about a year i still forget and leave my charging on after 100. So i would definitely love such an option.

First, i'am french so my english can be bad 🙂

Personally, i use "automate". It s an app which allows you to build some program :-). You can detect when you phone has 80% battery and when it has 40%.
It s really safe and i love this application 🙂
