APTX or LDAC support in Xcover5?

Hi,

does the recently released XCover 5 support LDAC or aptx or AAC? I tried to enable it in a Samsung Experience Store, without success. But the Samsung customer care confirmed in email that aptx and LDAC both are supported. I'm totally confused now. I'd be really surprised if it would not be supported because my old A3 does support AAC, LDAC, and aptx out of the box.

Any info on this?

Thanks, Gabor

@NGabor

hello

♥ try enabling your Developers Options first

Settings → About phone → Software Information → tap Build number 7x

it will say "You are now a developer!"

♥ go back to Settings → head to the lowest part → open Developers Options

♥ on the long list → look for Bluetooth Audio Codec

you may find there SBC, AAC, aptX, LDAC and others

thanks for the reply. I'm familiar with enabling and setting this option. Maybe my question was ambiguous, my apologies. I tried this method in the Samsung ES, but all the options were grayed out except the SBC, that's why I was assuming those are not supported. But Samsung CC told me it's supported. That's why I'm confused.
