I processed an Android update on my Samsung Galaxy J1 mini prime today and afterwards I had "Unfortunately, TouchWiz home has stopped" on screen and I cannot now use the phone. I have taken the battery & Sim cards out & restarted but I still get the same message. PLEASE HELP!!!!

It's a security protocol of the phone that stops anyone else Factory Resetting your phone and inserting their own SIM card.

Keying in your Google Credentials will complete the process.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Hi,

I would to suggest trying....

  • Shut the phone down and follow the protocols to clear the system cache.
  • If no joy then Factory Reset and or Hard Reset. This however would delete saved information.

If no no help then seek out your most local Samsung Service Location.

Ok.

A Hard Reset comes in handy if the phone is glitching.

Guide in http://www.hardreset.info/devices/samsung/samsung-j106f-galaxy-j1-mini-prime/

If no joy I think you'll need a Samsung Service Location.
