Samsung won't comment which is typical really for any manufacturer and Network.
It can also depend on wether the phone is supplied by a Network i.e. Branded or Samsung i.e. Unbranded.
I'm using an unbranded Samsung Galaxy s8 and would love the new update but I know it's going to be later on in the year or the middle'ish of next year going from my experience.
Generic advice is to periodically check the phones Software Update Section.
