Sorry if this has been asked before,  just how does the zoom lock work?

@danmidd: When you zoom in using the Camera app, any movements you make will also be magnified, making it difficult to take a steady picture. Zoom Lock remedies this, stablilizing the image to help you capture a clearer picture. Look for the option on screen when you reach x30 zoom, and tap to enable.

sorry for all the questions so ideally when I press the shutter button it will take what's zoom locked ? reason I'm asking as coming from the p30 Pro to the s21 ultra , not managed to get out to properly test due to lock down so having to look out the window lol

can you turn zoom lock off? when using a tripod I cant make minor adjustments as the AI moves around....
