WhatsApp Video corrupting on upload

When trying to send videos over whatsapp, the files are 'corrupting' on upload. They go blurry and a green bar appears on the side (see screenshots from gallery and WhatsApp).

This was an issue on the beta and appears not to have been fixed on the stable release. Issue only appears in WhatsApp. Videos taken in the WhatsApp app are fine.

All the usual steps such as wiping cache, reinstalling WhatsApp etc. don't fix the issue.

Has anyone found a fix for this?

Hi, I have the same problem; I am from Croatia ...and there is no update on play store for whatsApp; also no new updates for samsung software. Am I missing smth?

Hi I'm experiencing the same thing now. Screen recordings and videos getting corrupted when sending via whatsapp. Where exactly do I report this? To whatsapp on the playstore?

 open ur camera, then press settings tap, then go to advanced recording options.  Make sure ur HDR10+ is switch off because whatsapp does not support this hence the videos become corrupt.
