Downloaded latest updates last night, just about killed browser, so slow loading pages virtually unworkable

I'm having the same problem. Software updated on Sunday (8th May) and browser has been unbearably slow since. Is there a solution?

Issue occurs on 4G network and other WiFis as well as my home WiFi. Don't believe that rebooting my WiFi will resolve it
