Hello! I just received yesterday my brand new S21 Ultra 5G, and I am sure my device is faulty. It's about the speaker. The sound is distorted.
I will attach here 2 links. And if you will listen, you will notice the problem. I have some friends with the same phone, and the sound is very clear.

What is your advice? It's very frustrating.
Thank you!

Nope no difference with the replacement phone unfortunately. I really hope it's a software issue that can be fixed but if not then this is poor by Samsung. This is meant to be their top of the range phone and they've made it with cheap speakers 😔 I'll be switching and getting the new iPhone 13 max pro in October if this isn't improved. At least that will have a fingerprint scanner and 120hz refresh rate to match this. Also samsung released this phone two months earlier than normal, it should have been March, every 12 months.. I shouldn't be having to upgrade after 10 months. They've clearly rushed this phone out for whatever reason 🤷

I've tried increasing the EQ and changing all the sound settings and it sounds exactly the same to me, no change. But the difference between the s21 ultra and s20 plus is huge, I'm shocked your partner can't tell. Play Crescent on each one side by side and it's just shockingly bad.

I got my phone today and noticed crackling noise when making calls. I need to know if I should return this or this is a software issue that has an expected update.

I'm going to keep the phone and see if it gets any better in the future with updates. It's still an amazing phone and I can't justify keeping an s20+ which will lose even more value over the next year if I keep it. My strategy is to upgrade every year and it is more cost effective than having a 24 month contract. I have more control. But I'll see what the new iPhone is like in October and I may sell my s21ultra then if I'm tempted.

I'm the same.. althought couldn't bring myself to get an iPhone again after having so much freedom with android....
I just cant see it being anythign else other than software issue with this sound as for you to have 2x brand new ones same issue and not to mention the issue happens on both speakers of the phone. You would have thought if it was a hardware issue it would only affect one speaker due to it being blown etc.
