Advice please

Hi. I have a S21 ultra and if I'm in a dull lit room my screen turns off, or if I cover the top of my screen the screen also turns off.

Can this be altered or changed.

If the room is dark the screen goes off and won't come on until the room is brighter, regardless of touching the screen. And it doesn't work x

@ashleigh90: As a potential workaround, try heading to Settings > Advanced Features > Motions and Gestures > Keep Screen On while Viewing, and toggle this option on. This will keep the screen turned on while you're looking at it, using the front camera to detect your face. While you're here, disable Double Tap To Turn Off Screen to see if this helps.

Have you tried cleaning the screen especially near the camera side where the sensor is?

Do you have Adaptive Power Saving settings on, or Digital Wellbeing settings such as Bedtime Mode?
