Samsung TV Plus is Samsung’s free video streaming service. It’s been included on all Samsung smart TVs since 2016 and offers over 90 live and on-demand TV channels, from kids and comedy to news and documentaries. There’s so much on offer that it’s got something for pretty much everyone.
One of the best things about Samsung TV plus is that the channel list is fully customisable. With all that content to choose from, you might want to remove the channels you never watch, just to make your viewing experience even more streamlined. You may even decide that none of the channels is for you and want to delete them all.
If you want to remove some or all of the channels from your Samsung TV Plus, follow the steps below.
Remove selected channels from the channel list
Press the Home button on your remote control (it has a little picture of a house on it)
Go to the Samsung TV Plus app and then select “Channel list”
Up in the top right corner of the screen, select “Edit Channels”
Select the checkbox next to the channel or channels that you want to remove
Go to “Delete”. Select “Delete” in the pop-up window to confirm
Remove all the channels
Please note: if you delete all channels, the Samsung TV Plus app will no longer appear on your TV unless a new channel is added.
Press the Home button on your remote control
Go to the Samsung TV Plus app and select “Channel list”
Select “Edit Channels”
Select the checkbox next to “Samsung TV Plus”
Go to “Delete”, then select “Delete” in the pop-up window to confirm
