When I look in the galaxy app store , I can open  the samsunng contacts app  but the app does not show up in the app drawer (and so I cannot add it to my home  screen or a  folder .on my homestead,  maybe I deleted a link in my app drawer but how do I get it back? (Iin my app drawer at least, but preferably on  my home  screen)

Could you have accidentally moved it into a folder , have you hidden the app? Go to app drawer then 3 dots top right then settings / hide apps

Try searching contacts in finder, located at the top of the app drawer. 😎

Found it , by accident made a folder on the app drawer (overlooked it before , did not even know you could make folders in the app drawer is that a bug? ) that did remove the app from some app lists , deleted the folder, everything works fine again (I hope so)
WORN people against making folders in the app drawer (or make it impossible)

It's not a bug. Folders can be helpful if they aren't hiding the apps we need!

@DannyT it is a bug because it also removes the apps from other lists
