Hi,

I am currently setting up a mobile for my child (almost 11) so he is contactable on his way too and from school however it will not let him create a Samsung account because of his age. How do I enable the option to locate the phone if its lost/stolen without this?? Also will the Samsung pass app for passwords not work either??

Thanks

Set the phone up with your samsung account (or create a new one with a slightly different age 😉 ) and then in settings you can enable parental controls if you would like :smiling-face:

Thanks, I did consider mine then realised he'd have all my passwords when it synced. New profile might need to be the one but it's a bit lacking on the side of Samsung to not have a slimed down service that covers key features for kids devices not requiring us to lie 🙄

I use the Microsoft family app for tracking/app blocking/time restrictions

@TangyMochi: It is possible to share your child's device location via the SmartThings app.

Open the SmartThings app > Life > SmartThings Find > Select the device > Share this device's location.

Let me know if this helps.
