UI 7 updates

The recent UI 7 updates has been frustrating and very disappointing. Especially on the search bar, it was being move from top to bottom of the screen. It has caused much inconvenience to us as user. I also noted there is no option to change back to the top of the screen. To me it is the most stupid move on the designer. I look forward that Samsung make an option for user to switch this search bar to the top. Unless otherwise, it maybe time for me to change to other brands of phone after been a loyal customer of Samsung mobilephone for past 27 years owning 4 Samsung's mobilephone.

I found the change to be very helpful. Honestly can't think why it ever was placed at the top to begin with. Having a search bar near where your keyboard will be when you actually use it, makes perfect sense to me. So whilst I understand you're frustrated by this change, not every user is like yourself and it fundamentally comes down to a simple preference. My reasoning is based on a logical placement, but I couldn't care either way wherever it's placed, as the repositioning poses absolutely zero inconvenience whatsoever, from a UI standpoint. If these very simple UI adjustments causes you to reconsider which brand you buy, know that Google have this very same adjustment as do many other manufacturers of android devices. Both Samsung and Xiaomi use this system, both are the 2 largest Android manufacturers of phones.

It being at the bottom means you can open the menu, click the bar and start typing without moving your hand to the top of the screen. It's really handy now it's at the bottom

Yes i find it much more helpful personally.
Its not much of a bother it being at the top. But I find it a more fluid and using one handed is easier

If we're talking about the search bar in the app drawer then can we stop blaming Google. Google haven't moved it as it's still at the top on pixel phones.

You're right, but honestly I feel it was a much needed change. Using it whilst at the top one handed was awful UI design.

So you'll have to go to Pixel I think if the search bar at the bottom is a deal breaker.

But then stock android isn't anywhere near a polished product as One UI7.......
