Suspicious email

Anyone received anything from this email address before 

SA.noreply@notice.samsung-mail.com

Stating that accounts that aren't used in 24mths will be deleted.

There is a link to Samsung accounts etc.

Just a bit strange as I have had no message from Samsung themselves on my account/members profile. Or no prior messages

(I didn't bother clicking any links just in case!)

Can anyone shed some light on this,

Or pass onto Samsung themselves in case it is a scam.

Yes this is genuine and it's part of a notification from Samsung to all users.

If an account hasn't been used in 2 years it will get deleted.

Multiple reasons....

1. Personal data security
2. GDPR
3. Cost of running huge data centres

Hello, I have gotten the same letter. But what if I have been using this phone and using samsung's internet website? What else do i need to do to prevent my account deleting?
