this bug exists, if you change the volume step in sound assistant app.
i set it from default 10 to 5 (i like it at 5). anytime i connect to any bluetooth speaker/headphones, randomly the current volume decides to drop by 1.
- example: at first i set the volume to 35, after a short while it becomes 34. however the volupe step is still 5, so if i change volume, i will see 39, 44, and so on.
i have sent to the sound assistant team email too.

dude I'm having this problem as well; It's impossible to find anything anywhere else about this and it's driving me insane. I had a Galaxy S21 and this was happening so I thought it was a software issue on an aging device so I recently upgraded to an S25 and it stopped. I thought the problem was solved! The moment I opened up SoundAssistant, it started happening again! And the worst part is that it only does this with my Sony XM4 headphones. I don't know what to do to revert it so I'm hoping more people have this issue and come across this thread.

yeah its still like this. i assume its bc the output device (earphones) has its own volume steps, so they get misalligned...or its just the sound assistant bug 😕
ps bro i have the exact same sony xm4 lol
