Can anyone tell me why I haven't received the August security patch yet? I have a z fold 4 but other, older models have already been updated?

Goodness the way some of you are behaving is mad, all over a delayed update. I would rather they pulled a broken patch than pushed it and broke my device.

Clearly they have found an issue on the phased release in other regions and stopped the rollout to Europe. Given that their software teams are heavily into development of the beta versions with One UI 6 they will have less time to go back and fix the August patch.

Everybody needs to chill in here, it wasn't long ago we wouldn't have had this August patch till February or March as Samsung were, untill a couple of years ago, utterly terrible at monthly patches, and then major Android version upgrades would take years!

I am more that happy for a delayed patch if its fixes it and makes sure it works but when older phones in the same country are getting the patch before the new top of the line phones just seems wrong

Why do you need to reply in such a way? When someone asked a reasonable question. If you don't like the question don't reply. Customers of Samsung are entitled to ask whatever question they want. You don't own the app.

Older phones have different hard ware, cpu, screen, storage etc etc. It could well be the issue is with hardware drivers for example, who knows. But it's not as simple as just saying that the S20 has it so we should!
