My new A20e works okay for phone/calling via Wi-fi, but I cannot send or receive Texts.

Some networks don't allow texts via WiFi calling only calls so I'd check with your network if it's a feature they support

Thank you for swift response! I am on Vodafone and they say that my A20e is not compatible for Wi-fi texts? I do not quite accept that and when I mentioned RCs on the 'Chat', the Op. did not know what that meant!

Yeah unfortunately all network live chats are the same unless it's a really basic enquiry they never help
