Samsung... You're making Secure Folder less secure with every update.
First, you removed the #dedicatedfingerprint option, which used to hide the app completely and allowed access only with a specific fingerprint, without any strange icons
Now, you’ve removed the “Lock when leaving the app” option. Making the app more vulnerable.
Many users, like me, choose Samsung ONLY because of Secure Folder — but every time, you make it less secure
Are we ever going to get an answer, or will this be ignored just like when you removed the dedicated fingerprint?

Oh, of course - nothing says "more secure" like having to turn the screen off and on every single time just to do what one tap used to do. I'll have to hide and bring back secure folder again every time I want to use it. Productivity at its finest.
Because forcing users to lock and unlock the entire phone just to leave an app definitely makes it "more secure". Brilliant move.

Dude I understand there are still ways to lock the app I know Secure Folder very well - but all of them now make the process unnecessarily tedious. Every update adds extra steps, whereas before access was faster and more secure with the dedicated fingerprint (removed years ago) and the "Lock when leaving the app" option (removed in the latest update).
The whole purpose of Secure Folder is to ensure that only the person with the proper credential or biometric access can open it — quickly and easily.
Instead of simplifying and strengthening security, these updates have made it slower and less practical. Honestly, the developers should consider a different line of work.

Imagine this: you're at work, juggling multiple tasks, and you open your banking app inside Secure Folder to make a quick transfer. You obviously don't want anyone else accessing your private files.
Now, instead of simply exiting the app and having it lock automatically - like before - you're forced to turn the screen off and back on just to secure it. Sounds productive, right?
What if you get a phone call while Secure Folder is still open? You answer, talk for a minute, get distracted, and forget it's unlocked. Congratulations - your "secure" folder is now wide open.
Security should make things easier and safer, not turn basic privacy into a multitasking nightmare. Don't try to justify what's clearly a downgrade in both logic and design. Anyone with common sense can see that.

I use it because I need it, not because it's optional entertainment. Some of us rely on Secure Folder for banking and work-related apps.
Telling people to "just stop using it" instead of addressing an obvious downgrade is exactly why things keep getting worse. Blind acceptance doesn't fix bad design - and it's because of conformists like you that things keep getting worse. That kind of mindset is exactly what kills progress.
