I have a new S20 and when I try to set up Samsung pay with my card it says "Registration failed. Card information is invalid, please try again." This error appears after I accept my banks terms and conditions, so its being recognised enough to show the correct Ts&Cs.
This card has been working fine on my old Note8 so I know it's supported.

Hi I have the same issue when I enter mycard details its always says card information is invalid after I accept terms and condition. I don't use samsung pay before because I'm using wallet on apple. My card is working fine its just my iphone got lost and now I'm using samsung note 20 ultra now I don't know why its always invalid when I enter my card details maybe you could help me to resolve the issue please. Thank you

As a long term Samsung Pay user, I found out some card is not supported with Samsung Pay, make sure to check with your region which card is supported with Samsung pay.

I had the same issue when trying to register my bank cards with Samsung Pay after getting a new Samsung S21 5G phone. Tried talking to the bank to reset the tokens assigned to the cards which they did and it did not help. Reset the cache and deleted the data of the App and also uninstalled and re-installed the app and even this didn't help. I finally solved the issue by just enabling my devices Location setting and reloaded the card in my Samsung Pay app and it registered without issues. Hope this will help others too!

It appears to be related to NFC capabilities on the card itself. Since you can't insert your phone or watch into a card reader machine, it only works with the cards that have the ")))" looking symbol on the front which allows you to use the card at those touch-free point of sale locations (which also has symbol stamped on it).

I have been stuck with the same problem for almost 10 days. The solution is just to contact your bank or card issuer and tell them to unblock your devices. I had to call my bank around 5 times until they transferred my case to the responsible technical team who had access to this information. (They have confirmed to me multiple times that no blocks were on my devices; but for sure they were blocked!)
When finally they allowed my case to reach the correct team/person, they resolved my issue immediately and I was able to register the card.

I have been having the same problem since many months. It kept saying my card info is invalid after I accepted the agreement and I have to retype everything. It will never work. I live in Malaysia and I tried both Maybank and CIMB cards. They even said these 2 banks are their partners.

Hey @MaXi32, I have had the same issue and thought it is from Samsung app/team. But the issue was from my bank. I just had to contact those multiple times and told them I need to speak with the technical support team who can check that in detail. This took almost 10 days to reach the correct team that can really unblock my Samsung mobile and allow my app to link the cards with Samsung Wallet.
So in short, just keep calling the bank until they resolve the issue. The only thing you can do is to make sure that your phone and your apps are up to date.
For any Samsung support team who is reading this thread/comment, please provide the banks with instructions about these complaints as they are worldwide. Let them know about it and how they should quickly clear any blocks/restrictions for card owners who are linking new phones/apps with their cards.
