Samsung Pay+ and Curve

Trying to link pay+ and curve but it won't accept my phone number as it says it's already in use.

My old Google account was hacked and got shut down so I had to setup everything again with a new one. 

I wonder if this is the issue?

Any ideas?

Just had the same issue but had no problems with Google account.
Any ideas anyone or Samsung??
