Samsung Pass "Couldn't verify fingerprints"

I'm trying to set up Samsung Pass on a new S9 (SM-G960U) in the UK.  I've registered fingerprints and they work fine for unlocking the screen, and Samsung Pass appears to accept the fingerprint when I go through the registration process, but then says "Couldn't verify fingerprints.  Try again later."

I've tried rebooting, safe mode, installing updates, disabling WIFI and going through the whole process using mobile data, also deleting saved fingerprints and starting again, but no progress.  Can anyone help?

Try wiping the cache partition on the phone and that should resolve the issue. To do this, just search 'how to wipe cache partition S21' and you should find what you are looking for 🙂. Hope this helps! 😎

Hey, thanks for the suggestion.  I found the instructions OK, but sadly it hasn't fixed the issue for me 😞

Uninstalling Samsung pass updates and Signing in did the trick for me
