Samsung Music App

Hi All,

I have a Galaxy A40 and have all my music on there as MP3s, WMAs etc.  I don't use Spotify etc and just want to listen to the music that's on my phone.  If I create playlists in Samsung Music, how do I then transfer those playlists when I upgrade my phone?  Transferring the music itself is easy as it's on my SD card but it's the playlists that are important as I run marathons!!

I would imagine if you was moving from Samsung to Samsung and do a Samsung Smart Switch... this will mirror copy your data from the A40 to whatever Samsung device... hopefully that including playlists.

I do notice that on some new Samsung devices that you buy straight from the shelf... you need to actually download the Samsung Music application too... its not preinstalled.

Hi I've not used playlists on mine but i have noticed there's a playlist folder in the phone. Perhaps it's worth checking to see if they're saved in there through your "My Files" app
