@lisababey33: Please can you confirm the model number and current Android version of the device you're using (located in Settings > About phone). Is the issue occurring across all apps? Also, are certain letters not being recognised, or is it random? If you have a case or cover on the device, then you may wish to try removing it to see if you notice an improvement. Also, if you head to Settings > Accessibility > Interaction and dexterity > Touch settings > Tap duration > On, you can manually adjust how long a button needs to be pressed to be recognised as a tap. Alternatively, toggle this feature off to revert to the default tap duration.
