My Business uses work mobiles being the Samsung XCover 4S devices to replace the existing Samsung A5. We put on our own Kiosk Lockdown screen which has a list of our work apps to use, and this overlays the existing Apps on the phone as is out of the box.
Our lockdown screen was original created for the A5 but the build still works with the XCover but for one icon, This is the phone dialler icon to make calls that comes up with an ‘Activity not found’ error. We think it’s the phone dialler command line that’s lost its association. I say this because the only difference between the A5 and XCover is Android o/s version (A5 = V7.0 – XCover = V9.0) We think the command line may have changed from the update.
So for now the only way a call can be made is by going to the contact list and calling a contact, but can’t dial a number.
Can anybody advise or point me in the right direction please.
Thanks
