I was able to use Google pay a week ago, now I am not, as my phone is not "play protect certified " O_o?

Did somebody face this problem and if yes, how to fix it?

I tried doing factory reset but no luck, just lost my data 😑 (yeah I know I had to do a backup).

Still, if someone did face that issue and knows how to fix it please help.

i dont know what is your situation, but I fixed it going to settings>Developer options>disable OEM unlocking, after I dont really remember what i did, rebooted my phone, or restored factory settings, but it worked.

PS. Dont forget to backup your data.

Just managed to sort it thanks.

I cleared cache and data on play store app and Google pay app and my device is certified again!

Happy days. Apart from the global pandemic..

I have the same problem on Note 9 after Feb update. Can't use streaming services. Have tried clearing cache and data on play store app and play services but no luck. Does anyone else know why it loses certification?

I have noticed the same problem now, when I have tried using Google Pay (which was enabled in my country today). The device is not certified. Is there any fix for this?
