I updated the application from 22.214.171.124 to 126.96.36.199 and since then it doesn't sync!!!
On the device that has the old version, everything works perfectly.
When updating the mailbox settings, the new version (188.8.131.52) writes this error message:
Failed to authenticate the account
An error occurred with the secure connection

We have exact the same Problem with different devices and exchange servers.
Apps older than 184.108.40.206 work, updated devices can not connect with active sync.
will there be a patch within the next days?
You have to download the previous version APK from a website.
Does anyone know if someone from Samsung actually replys to this threads or is it just normal public?

We'd advise against downloading and installing apps/APKs from unofficial sources as you never know if it's genuine official software or if you're getting something else you didn't want along with it (e.g. a virus).
If there's an error with an app, the best thing to do is to let our developers know by sending an error report and log files (with any other relevant info) via the Members app as soon as you notice the error.
As soon as the issue occurs (within 15 minutes is best):
Samsung Members > Support > Send Feedback > Error Reports > [select error type] > choose frequency of issue, and write an accurate and good description (and attach any screenshots/pictures/videos showing the issue if you want/are able to) > tick ‘Send system log data’ > Send (the > icon on the top right).
(Or: Long-press the Samsung Members icon on the Apps screen, and select 'Error reports' from the dropdown menu, and follow the steps from there.)
That will send that report and log files for the Samsung developers to analyse and give advice or a fix for. The more users experiencing the same issue who send good error reports with log files to the developers the better for getting it fixed.

I agree, you should not use an apk from whatever site. Consequently Samsung has to correct the bug. I can accept that a security patch has been applied but it should not mean that the application cannot be used any more.

Perhaps it is possible that Samsung will make the AKP available for downgrading to 220.127.116.11 until the bug is fixed. Not receiving mail and calendar entries is not an option.

I've had this issue since May with a .virgin.net email account. It obviously wasn't syncing because I need to access emails in a folder I set up in Samsung email & can't get in - and the folder isn't appearing on the actual virgin email. What can I do to get some help from SAMSUNG?????
