Since this morning, my Samsung Galaxy S9 has been continually sending me notifications from Samsung Cloud.
"Keep your data safe. Your Gallery data in Samsung Cloud and your data in Samsung Cloud Drive will be deleted on 01/07/2021. You can download it or move it to Microsoft OneDrive".
There was another notification too, but this is the main one that pops up. It started when I turned my phone on this morning. You can clear the notification but then a few seconds later it appears again. And again. Even if you don't clear it, the phone still beeps. Happens a few times, then all goes quiet for a while. Then a short while later, it all starts up again!
So far, I have tried the following to no avail:
- Rebooting the phone
- Trying to mute the notifications for Samsung Cloud (you can't - option is greyed out!)
- Deleting my existing minimal data in Samsung Cloud (I don't use it anyway)
- Turning off syncing for Gallery and all Samsung Cloud services
- Turning off all but essential notifications in the Samsung app
But the notifications keep on coming!
Please help me - it's driving me absolutely potty!
Thanks

The post marked with the solved answer does not work for me. I've tried that 3 times now over a few months and still get this notification at minimum 8 times a day. I went thru the prompts as if I was going to transfer my data and then when I clicked on download I unchecked everything and downloaded a single picture. This has seemed to be enough to keep the message at bay. Like everyone else here, I don't use samsung cloud so whatever is on it is useless to me.

Great thinking! I finally went to tech support and let them remote access my tablet. There is no linger a way to not have two step verification. What they finally did was go to Settings-Apps. Press 3 dots in upoer right corner. Choose Show System Apps. Scroll down to Samsung Cloud. Tap it. Tap Notification and choose Silent and Minimized.
You cannot turn off notification but now if tgey pop up, they are silent and do not show on your screen. If you pull down the too of the main screen where you set flashlight, etc. you can see the notification prompting you to Sign In and press clear but I son't bother as the notification goes away when device is turned off and unless you look for it, you can't see or hear it.

Thank you! This worked for me! Who knows why it's greyed out but the double tapped worked.

OK. Here is a new one.. I started getting the Samsung Cloud pop ups today. I went to turn them off, and the ability to turn them off is no longer present. It is "greyed out".. Has anyone had this come up?

Samsung has NO RIGHT to force a notification on me - again and again - until I respond to it. Making it silent is simply not good enough. It has to GO AWAY! And there is NO WAY I am going to actually do what the notification wants me to do just to turn off the notification. I will NOT be manipulated like that!

It is an unfair marketing issue. Samsung is making love with Microsoft and forcing us to use Onecloud, giving no way to opt out. Simply an illegal way. It is against the law in many part of thee world. I like Samsung products, but it is a big mistake of someone who is involved in this business. I do not like Microsoft and I say NO if they push onedrive to my face. Samsung legal managers, pls. Read it! Now you are losing your reputation! Trust is more important than some extra money from Microsoft... Personally I hate Microsoft, that is why I am with Samsung DEX! Do something asap!
