@Teophrast: Standalone updates for both the Camera app and Weather Widget are made available periodically, however some app updates are included in software and security updates.
If updates are not showing the the Galaxy Store or Google Play Store, then you are likely to be on the latest version of the apps. If you'd like further confirmation, then please head to the Weather Widget > Tap the 3 lines in the top left > Tap the cog in the top right of the pop-up window > About Weather.
Furthermore, head to the Camera app > Tap the cog symbol in the top left > About Camera.
For that two specific apps, i can't find them even searching in galaxy store. This two apps don't exist in galaxy store. Also for any other app, in settings there is a menu option "show app in store", both for galaxy store apps and google play apps. However camera app, and weather widget do not have that menu option.
When i bought the phone, i wrote down a weather widget version in notes, and seven month later, version is still the same. In the internet i can find the last version being 1.7.01.91, while mine still 1.6.75.47
@Teophrast: The pre-installed Camera and Weather apps cannot be downloaded separately from the Google Play Store or Galaxy Store, however updates can be made available via these channels. If you follow the steps in my previous reply, then you can check for any available updates via the 'About' setting for the relevant app. If you have seen online that a more recent version of the app is available, then this is likely to be for a later Android version. With this in mind, please can you confirm the model number and current Android version of your phone? These details can be found in Settings > About phone.
