S23 Ultra voicemail icon

I've had my S23 Ultra about 5 days now and I am unable to get rid of my vouemail icon, I have no new or saved voicemail messages. I have tried clearing the cache etc but the icon remains. I've rang Samsung and they tried the same thing. My carrier is O2 (UK). Has anyone had the same issue and managed to resolve it?

Not yet. I'm going through the messaging system on the O2 app. I'll post if I have any joy

Not tried on the s23u but on the S20FE I had to physically delete the voicemail before the icon disappeared, as even listening to it, the icon stayed. That is with EE and Three.

Activate voicemail, leave a message, listen to it, then switch off voicemail. Worked for me on a works phone.

So, I got my husband to leave me a voicemail. I listened to it and deleted it. The icon disappeared 😀

Literally as I said, delete the voicemail as even when you listen but don't delete, the icon will stay.

It will only disappear once you delete it.
