S21 Ultra - ' couldn't download update'

Hey all, I've had no updates to my S21 ultra since 1st March 2021.

This is what I get on the screen if I look for any updates:

Couldn't download update

Unable to update the software 

A network or server error occurred.  Try again later.

 

Been trying twice weekly for a month now but same message each and every time. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Try turning off Bluetooth does that help

Hi @JohnBrolly     Have you tried to download on wifi which is generally preferable, whilst sometimes server issues you may wish to reset your router.

However other option is to see if Downloads available via Samsung Smart Switch on computer, see some information here https://www.androidcentral.com/how-update-your-samsung-phone-smart-switch

Clear data for software update. Or try smart switch on pc to check for updates.

Make sure you aren't using any kind of vpn.

Unfortunately not. I think there is an issue with the phone's software

WiFi or data connection, no difference. Error. However, thank you for the advice about SmartSwitch as I did that and updated my phone with the May update. Will probably take my phone into the big Samsung store in London as there's a couple of other issues too.

I think there's an issue with the phone and I did the SmartSwitch thing already and got the May update. Thanks.
