S10 plus front camera not working

My Samsung S10 plus front camera has stopped working but only in apps such as messenger and whats app. The front camera will work regularly in the camera app but the front camera will not work when open in an app. I've cleared the cache on the camera, messenger and whats app but it has not resolved the issue. There are also no updates pending. 

Any information on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

this proves the camera is ok on the phone and an issue with the third party apps.
you need to uninstall and reinstall those apps as well as grant them permission to use your cam and mic
