Restore from samsung cloud backup to non samsung phones

I lost my samsung phone recently and was replaced by a new android phone which is not a samsung unfortunately. Any way to restore my contacts, messages, ... from samsung cloud backup ?

If you have signed in on a Google account then it should be possible. Samsung will not allow unless its a Samsung device.

I would buy a cheap Samsung phone, restore, move everything to the new Android and then sell the cheap Samsung phone. Not ideal I know.
