Sometimes i inadvertently tap on a Reminder notification, which kills the notification even though the reminder is not complete. Any ideas how to restore the notification, or make it persist until marked as completed?

@riatsila: If you accidentally tap the circle on the left side of the banner notification in the Reminder app, then simply tap the 3 lines in the top left > Completed > Select the reminder > Restore. Alternatively, if your completed reminders are visible in 'My reminders' (if 'Hide completed reminders' is not enabled) then you can tap on the banner from here, and hit Restore as per the above.

@AndrewL  I too have similar ask. It should auto populate the reminder again till I mark it as complete. If clear the notification tray when this reminder also part of it, then this is being considered as complete and it doesn't repopulate in the notification tray. Its like it reminds once and no more after that.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. Your solution however doesn't help - it marks the reminder as not completed but importantly does not restore the notification. What's the point in a reminder that you have to remember to look up?
