@Sackington: Please can you try heading to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Power saving > Limit apps and Home screen, and toggle this option off. If this isn't applicable, then please confirm the model number and current Android version of the device you're using, located in Settings > About phone, and I will look into this further for you.
