I don't like the unlock for my phone you should lock using third party use i just am frustaed by this I have almost been locked out of my phone dozens of times and it annoys me fix this samsung.

unlocking is a system functionality I don't think you can add another unlock method to your phone without rooting it.
(but I would like to be proven wrong)

you can just switch of "open with fingerprint" via settings -> lock screen -> screen lock type

I have mine set to only scan the finger print when the screen is on so it scans it when I press the power button.

@ChrisP88 the fingerprint sensor is waayy to sensitive.

I believe that you can change the sensitivity level on that for the fingerprint unlock method. Not 💯 only that but....look into it. I've that feature.
