OneDrive transfer

So,

Ine Samsung is prompting us to move all of our data to OneDrive but they haven't provided any tools for it.

What shall we do? I've asked Samsung, they say I shall contact Microsoft, I've asked Microsoft they say I shall ask Samsung.

Many users, my friends etc., are confused and I can't event help myself with this.

Hi @Adi0  unfortunately you have missed the  migration deadline (assuming you are resident in Uk/Ireland)   which was 31 March.   This was mentioned on the  Community quite a bit earlier in the year.   However you are able to download data to device or PC until 30 June 2021, data will be deleted from 1 July.   The downloading guide is detailed  here https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/changes-to-gallery-sync-samsung-cloud-drive-and-pr...   You need to open Samsung Cloud  and tap download my Data or from Samsung Gallery  tap the 3 dot More Icon , go to Settings and download content from  cloud.   Files can also be accessed from the Samsung Cloud website, log in here to download data directly to PC or Mac.   some information here https://techweez.com/2020/10/14/samsung-cloud-end-of-an-era/

I'm so confused.

It onyl says to get the images synced but I have none. How to get this data transfered?

@Adi0  You will   be able to  download Data other than photos.  If you go to  Settings- Clouds and Accounts- Samsung cloud  and tap 3 dot  Menu an option to download  your Data  should appear.   More in this article https://heliocentrix.co.uk/samsung-cloud-services-to-cease/ 

Alternatively if you log into the Web version of Samsung cloud you can download Data  to computer  and if  you wish upload to One Drive or another cloud service.

@Adi0 oh right, well there is a download option in the guidelines.  I migrated over to One Drive though.  There is a thread from last June in which a user states it is possible to request a download link from Samsung, though make take a bit of time.  The link to request is here https://privacy.samsung.com/      It does seem to need computer though and is pretty much old school.  Whilst the download option on device should be different now, you may wish to pursue this.  Thread also details  process for transferring files to Pc , though had already mentioned that.     Some other information in the thread : https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/mobile-apps-services/cannot-see-download-any-media-in-my-samsung...

Thank you but it displays an error message when I wish to ask them to download my data.
