Missing photos/videos

My phone modified my gallery due to shortage of free space. After the modification 70% of my photos and videos are still missing, they aren't in the bin or in a back up folder. I don't understand where its gone or what my phone has done. There were very special photos of pregnancy and my babies which I really want back!!

Hi,
Go Settings
Apps
Gallery
And clear just the cache
Restart phone
And check the gallery

Also try
Check the My Files app
Click on the three
Vertical dots top right
Go Settings
And click to show
Hidden files
Type nomedia
In the search bar
And see if the images
Are listed
Also check the recycle bin
On the My Files app
