If you are referring to the ones in the screenshot, then one is from Samsung (3 dots in the bubble), and the other is from Google.

A comparison here, down to preference but Samsung Messages works best for me , Google Messages seems a bit more minimalist. Whilst they offer many of the same features a few differences,only Samsung Messages offers a 30 day retention of Deleted Messages.
